There are several open teaching positions at University of Okara.
University of Okara was established under Government of the Punjab Act, 2018 (Act XLIX of 2018). Currently, there are many opportunities available across its various departments.

Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the following teaching positions: The University of Okara reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions as per its requirement.
For the position of Assistant Professor having Age b/w 25 to 45 years in the discipline of Physics having Ph.D. in Physics, Mathematics having Ph.D. in Mathematics, Medical Lab Technology having Ph.D. in Medical Lab Technology, Physiotherapy having Ph.D. in Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Dietetics having Ph.D. in Nutrition and Dietetics & Library & Information Sciences having Ph.D. in Library & Information Sciences.

Candidates must submit their applications complete in all respect and along with original bank draft/deposit slip on or before the closing date, 20-02-2026.
Applicants are advised to read "Important Instructions / terms and conditions" of the advertisement as well as "Important Instructions to candidates" given on University of Okara website carefully in order to submit their applications to be completed in all respects.
The onus of responsibility of correctness of the data given in the Application Form will rest solely on the candidates.
The candidates already in the Government / Semi-Government services or autonomous bodies shall be required to send their applications dossiers through proper channel and bring No Objection Certificate from their relevant Competent Authority.
Candidates shall submit separate applications in separate envelopes for each post and quota applied. The name of the post and the relevant quota / reserved quota, as per Government rules shall be clearly and legibly endorsed on the top right-hand corner of each envelope.
In case screening test is held for a post, it will be mandatory for all eligible candidates to appear, whether applying on merit or against any of the quotas.
Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview. It is mandatory to deposit Rs. 4000/- as application Processing Fee for BPS-19 or equivalent posts and Rs. 3000/- as application Processing Fee for BPS-18 postal, for each application separately.
This requisite fee must be paid through bank draft (NTN No. 9021834-6) in favor of "Treasurer University of Okara, Renala Khurd," or deposit in HBL (Treasurer Payment A/C No. 01527913908501) of University of Okara and must be attach original bank draft/deposit slip with the application form, otherwise the application cannot be considered for processing under the rules.
Candidates are required to send their applications in hard in a prescribed manner/format available on University website and it must be received in the Registrar Office University of Okara on or before the closing date i.e 20-02-2026 in working hours.
In case of any failure, application shall not be entertained by the University. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in Test/Interview.
Age relaxation shall be admissible as per policy of the Government. Applicable quotas will be observed as per Government rules.
The University reserves the right to withdraw any post or its all advertisement or reject any or all applications without assigning any reason.
The same will not be challengeable in any court of law. The University may increase or decrease the number of positions as per its requirement and availability of budget.
The University reserves the right to apply and enforce the rules governing the nature of appointments and the relevant service rules, as amended by the Government from time to time.
Candidates' Call-up-letter and Information about Date, Time and Venue of Test/Interview will be conveyed to the short-listed candidates only through registered post/Email.
The University is not responsible, if call letters/emails about the Test or Interview Schedule is ignored by the candidates or letters are delayed or not received due to any lapse of postal services.
