Job Description

PRAL is now seeking dynamic and experienced professionals to join its team in Islamabad for the key position of Chief Operating Officer.

For Strategic & Operational Leadership, Lead and manage PRAL’s end-to-end operations, ensuring efficiency, continuity, and compliance with approved policies and objectives. Translate Board and CEO directives into executable operational, technology, and service delivery plans. Establish organization-wide performance frameworks, KPIs, and service level standards. Ensure effective governance, internal controls, risk management, and business continuity planning. Drive continuous improvement, process reengineering, and operational transformation initiatives.

For Enterprise Technology & Information Systems, Leadership Define and implement enterprise-wide technology and digital service strategies aligned with PRAL’s business objectives. Oversee architecture, development, integration, deployment, and maintenance of large-scale applications, platforms, and databases. Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and reliability of mission-critical systems supporting FBR operations. Lead modernization of legacy systems, adoption of automation, data-driven platforms, and emerging technologies. Ensure effective management of system integrations, APIs, middleware, and inter-agency data exchanges.

For Financial, Commercial & Resource Management, Support the CEO in budgeting, financial planning, and long-term resource allocation. Ensure effective control of operational and technology expenditures within approved budgets. Optimize cost structures while maintaining service quality and system resilience. Support commercial and revenue-generating initiatives through efficient operational and system delivery.

Required Qualifications of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline required; advanced degree preferred.

Professional Experience Minimum 15 years of progressive experience, including senior executive or leadership roles in operations and technology-driven organizations. Demonstrated experience managing large-scale enterprise information systems and digital platforms. Strong background in network operations, system integration, data management, and service delivery.

For the post of Tax Domain Specialists, Required Qualification of CA/ACCA/ACMA required; Additional degree in Law preferred. OR Serving Inland Revenue Officers with relevant tax administration/policy experience along with 5+ years in tax administration, advisory, compliance, audit or interpretation.
