Job Description
The Inspectorate of Mines, Mines & Mineral Development, Government of Sindh, invites the applications for filling the vacant vacancies from eligible candidates having domicile of province of Sindh, within fifteen (15) days of publication of the advertisement.
For the post of Account Assistant, B.Com or BBA from a recognized University at least in Second Division is required.
For the post of Stenographer, Graduation at least in Second Division from a recognized University & Certificate in English Shorthand (120 WPM) & Typing (35 WPM) from an Institute recognized by the Board of Technical Education along with Certificate course in M.S Office from an Institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education is necessary
For the post of Statistical Assistant, Graduate having one subject of Mathematics/Statistics/Economics at least in second division form a HEC recognized University is required.
For the post of Junior Clerk, Graduate at least in Second Division from any University by Higher Education Commission (HEC) & Six (06) months Certificate Course in M.S Office from an Institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education/ Trade Testing Board is required.
For Tracer post, Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized University/Board elementary drawing from Institute recognized by the Board of Technical Education Sindh is necessary.
How to Apply
The applicant who fulfills the following requirements should apply for the aforementioned vacancies on the job portal of Government of Sindh at http://sjp.gos.pk.
Instructions
The applicant must have successfully passed the General Servicing Test of Graduation & Matriculation categories with at least 40% marks, conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS), while possessing its certificate issued by STS as required for appointment to the aforementioned posts
Age of the applicant shall be calculated from the closing date of submission of application as provide under Rule-7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of upper Age Limit) Rules, 2014. However, the upper age relaxation limit will be 5 years as provided in Notification of Services, General Administration and Coordination Department bearing No. SOII (SGA&CD) 5-64/23(Part-II) dated 06.03.2025.
The share of quota shall be reserved for the initial appointment as adhering to as per Law/Rules/Policy of Government of Sindh.
The applicant already in Government Service should get NOC from his/her respective department prior to submission of application and bring the original copy of NOC at the time to interview for submission before the Departmental Selection Committee.
Appointment shall be made as per the policy Notified by the Government of Sindh, dated on 24.04.2023 and under provisions of Sindh Civil Servants Act 1973 and its rules as amended from time to time.
The applicant should appear before the Departmental Selection Committee along with original documents for interview as per the schedule to be uploaded on the Job Portal.
No TA/DA will be admissible for interview
