Job Description

Applications from eligible candidates are invited having Domicile and Permanent Residents Certificate (PRC) of District East Karachi against the following vacancies in Office of the District Education Officer (ES&HS), District East Karachi as per qualification & experience indicated against each within fifteen (15) days of publication of this advertisement.

For the post of LIBRARIAN, qualification of Graduate at least in Second Division from any University recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) with Certificate in Library Science having age b/w 21-28

For the post of COMPUTER LAB INCHARGE, Qualification of Intermediate at least 2nd Division (45% Marks) plus 06-month training in Ms. Office with 40 wpm on Computer Typing is required.

For the post of WORK SHOP ASSISTANT, qualification of DAE in IT or Computer Science is required.

Instructions

Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test of Graduation Category with at least 40% marks, conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS) and possess its certificate, issued by STS, as required for appointment to the aforementioned posts.

Age of the applicants, who applied for the test prior to promulgation of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024, dated: 16th October, 2024, shall be calculated with effect from the closing date of submission of application i.e: 30.11.2021, the upper age relaxation limit will be 15 years.

However, 05 years for those who applied after the promulgation of above Rules and the age shall be calculated with effect from 12.05.2025 as provided in Notification of Services, General Administration and Coordination Department bearing No. SOII (S&GACD) 5-64/2011 (Part-II) dated: 20 December, 2025.

The share of quota reserved for the initial appointment shall be adhered to as per Law/Rules/Policy of Government of Sindh.

Those applicants who are already in Government Service should get NOC from their Department prior to submission of application and bring original copy of the NOC at the time of interview for submission before the Departmental Selection Committee.

The appointment shall be made as per the policy notified by the Government of Sindh on 26.04.2023 and under provisions of Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973 and its Rules as amended from time to time.

The applicants should appear before the Departmental Selection Committee along with original documents for interview as per the schedule to be uploaded on the Job Portal.
