Description

Application from eligible candidates having domicile of the Province of Sindh are invited for the following vacancies in the Directorate of Sindh Archives, Culture, Tourism, Antiquities & Archives Department, Government of Sindh as per qualification and experience indicated against the vacant post within (10) days of publication of this advertisement.

For the post Software Engineer (BPS-15) having qualification of Bachelor in Computer Sciences (BCS) at least in 2nd Division or equivalent from a HEC. recognized University along with Having three (03) years experience in relevant field / localization.

For the post of Web Developer (BPS-15) having qualification of Bachelor in Computer Sciences (BCS) at least in 2nd Division or equivalent from a H.E.C. recognized University along with Having three (03) years experience in relevant field.

Instructions

Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test of Graduation Category with at least 40% marks, conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS), and possess its certificate, issued by STS, as required for appointment to the aforementioned post.

Age of the applicants shall be calculated from the closing date of submission of application as provided under Rule-7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024. However, the upper age relaxation limit will be 5 years as provided in Notification of Services, General Administration and Coordination Department bearing No. SOII (SGA&CD) 6-64/2011 (Part-I) dated 06.03.2005.

The share of quota for reserved for the initial appointment shall be adhered to as per Law/Rules/Policy of the Government of Sindh.

Those Applicants who are already in Government service should get NOC from the Department their time of interview for submission.

The appointment shall be made as per the Policy Notified by the Government of Sindh, and under provision of Sindh Civil Servants Act 1973, and its rule, as amended from time to time.

Only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

The Applicants should appear before the Department Selection Committee along with original documents for interview as per the schedule to be uploaded on the Job Portal.

No TA / DA will be admissible for interview.
