The Govt organization, Ministry of Commerce invites the applications for Enrollment of latest jobs in Pakistan. All instructions regarding jobs are under:-

National Tariff Commission (NTC) is a statutory autonomous body established under the NTC Act, 2015 and is functioning under the administrative control of Ministry of Commerce. NTC has been established with the responsibility to advise the Federal Government on tariff and other trade measures and to provide assistance in improving the competitiveness of the domestic industry, advising on trade remedy actions being faced by the domestic producers and exporters. The Commission is also entrusted with the role of rationalization of tariff and furnishing proposals for tariff reforms alongwith removal of anomalies.

The Ministry of Commerce invites applications from highly qualified, dynamic and result-oriented professionals against Two (02) positions of Member, National Tariff Commission (NTC).

The aspiring candidates shall be citizens of Pakistan and shall be employed with the Commission on a full-time basis. This is a quasi-judicial role that offers a professionally challenging environment, requiring requisite competence, integrity and the ability to deliver under demanding timelines.

The Qualification require is A Masters or Professional Degree or Qualification from an accredited University or Institute in Law, Business, Economics, Accountancy, Tariffs and Trade, Commerce and Trade, or a Trade-related subject. Experience

The applicant must have at least fifteen years of professional work experience in law, business, economics, accountancy, harmonized tariffs, commerce and trade, tariffs and trade or other trade-related technical field.

The selected candidate shall be appointed for a term of Five (05) years.

Preference will be given to the candidates who have knowledge/work experience in trade remedy Laws.

No person shall be appointed as Member if such person has been convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude, has been or is adjudged insolvent, is incapable of discharging his duties by reasons of physical, psychological or mental unfitness and has been so declared by a duly constituted medical board appointed by the Federal Government.

Fails to disclose any conflict of interest at or within the time provided for such disclosure by or under NTC Act, 2015 or contravenes any of the provisions of the NTC Act, 2015 pertaining to unauthorized disclosure of information.

Applications on the prescribed format shall be submitted ONLY through "Online Application Form" available at Ministry's job portal (careers.commerce.gov.pk) within 15-days from the date of advertisement.

Only Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview. Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline will be rejected.

Applications not submitted through online portal SHALL NOT BE entertained.
