Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for th Project Funded Positions on contract basis through the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan.

Job Description

For the post of Project Director of Project name Strengthening of Lab Facilities in 05 Leading Engineering Universities (UET Peshawar, Taxila, Lahore, Khuzdar & NED Karachi) having Master's Degree or equivalent (at least 2nd Division) from HEC recognized University/Institution with twelve (12) years relevant experience including five years managerial experience in Public/Private Sector organizations is required.

For the post of Accounts Manager for the project of Overseas Scholarship for Ph.D. in Selected Fields (Phase-III)-HEC, Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarships for Bangladesh, Central Asian and Friendly Countries to Study in Pakistan (HEC), Scholarship Program for the Students of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) in Top Pakistani Universities/Institutions having Masters/Bachelor's Degree (16 years) (at least 2nd Division) in Finance/Commerce or equivalent from HEC recognized university/institution, with five years relevant experience in Public/Private sector organization of good repute, including three years managerial experience. Proficiency in MS-Office and MS-Project is compulsory.

For the post of Project Manager for project of Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarships for Bangladesh, Central Asian and Friendly Countries to Study in Pakistan (HEC), Post Doctoral Fellowship Programme Phase-III, Fulbright Scholarship Support Program HEC-USEFP having Master's/Bachelor's Degree (16 years) or equivalent (at least 2nd Division) from HEC recognized University/Institution with eight years relevant experience including minimum five years at mid-level management in public/private sector organization. Proficiency in MS-Office and MS-Project is must for selected candidates.

The Assistant Accounts Manager post for the project of Scholarship Program for the Students of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) in Top Pakistani Universities/ Institutions having MBA/Finance/M.Com/CMA (16 years education) (at least 2nd Division) from HEC recognized University/Institution with three years experience in private/public organization is required.

The Office Assistant/Project Assistant post for the project of Post-Doctoral Fellowship Programme Phase-III, Provision of Higher Education Opportunities for Students of Balochistan & ERSTWHILE FATA (Phase-II) having Master's/Bachelor's Degree (16 Years) or equivalent (at least 2nd Division) from HEC recognized University/Institution with two years relevant experience in public/private sector organization of good repute is required.

The UDC/Diary Dispatcher post for the project of Award of Allama Muhammad Iqbal 3000 Scholarships to Afghan Students (Prime Minister's Directive) having Graduation (14 years) (at least 2nd Division) from HEC recognized University/Institution with two years of work experience in public/private sector organization of good repute & Advance use of MS Office is also required.

For Naib Qasid post in the project of Overseas Scholarship for Ph.D. in Selected Fields (Phase-III)-HEC having Intermediate with three years relevant experience.

The Attendant post for the project of Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarships for Bangladesh, Central Asian and Friendly Countries to Study in Pakistan (HEC) having Matric with two years relevant experience.

The Attendant post for the project of Overseas Scholarship for Ph.D. in Selected Fields (Phase-III)-HEC having Matric with one year relevant experience is required.

How to Apply

"Experience" means experience gained after obtaining the minimum required qualification.

Applicants are required to apply online via the HEC Website: https://careers.hec.gov.pk.

No need to send hard copies of the application, CV, and documents.

The application processing fee of PKR 1000 can be deposited via 1Link services using a Mobile Banking App or Mobile Wallet on the link provided in the online application form.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.

Instructions

Test/Interviews of eligible candidates residing outside the Islamabad/Rawalpindi region can be arranged via Audio/Video conferencing at the nearest possible locations (Karachi, Lahore, Quetta & Peshawar).

No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.

Those already in Government Service should apply through the proper channel. Five (05) years of general age relaxation is already included.

Further age relaxation will be given as per Government rules. Part-time, honorary, apprentice, or internee experience will not be considered or counted as experience.

HEC reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason, as well as to increase/decrease the number of vacancies as per requirement.

The last date for submission of online applications is 18-02-2025.

Incomplete/late applications will not be entertained.

Selected candidates can be posted anywhere in Pakistan.
